Cafe Saffron at The Taste of Britain Festival in Slovenia Azad was in Slovenia recently, accompanying HM British Ambassador Andrew Page, representing Great Britina in the Taste of Britain Festival. This was a unique opprtunity to showcase the skill and flair with which we produce food. Azad was the only chef from Shropshire to be invited, so this really was a highlight for our year so far. Only Fresh Produce We ONLY use fresh premium chicken UK - EC approved. Never frozen injected chicken Breasts, from the far east or Brazil that has been frozen for months and tastes like rubber, which is what you will get in many other indian restaurants. Our chicken is fresh British chicken and our UK - EC code is 1038. you will find it extremley hard at the least to find another Indian restaurant that can provode an EC code. What's more is our suppliers can trace back where all the chicken they provide is coming from, so it is assured quality produce. Follow us on Facebook and you will see Abdul buying chicken daily from fresh British farmers. All of the produce we use is sourced fresh, daily, and we can boast the ONLY Indian in Shropshire to offer fresh produce. Our fresh vegetable selections make our dishes stand out from the crowd. 5 out of 5 Food Hygiene Rating Cafe Saffron was recently rated 5 out of 5 as part of the government food hygiene awards.
